Inquire About This Family

Dear Birthparent(s),

Hello! We are extremely grateful that you are taking the time to look at our profile.  Both of us understand that the decision you are making is a very difficult one.  It takes strength, courage and a lot of love to consider the path of adoption for your child. We are praying for you and the decision you have ahead of you.

Our names are Aaron and Alison, and we live in Virginia.  We were married in 2007 after meeting in college serving in a local youth ministry.  It was the classic country boy meets city girl story. Although from different backgrounds, we both valued our faith and our families. We have dreamed of having a family of our own for a while now.  We’ve always talked about adopting one day, and now after years of struggling with infertility, we are excited to grow our family through adoption.

About Aaron (written by Alison)

Aaron works as the family pastor at our church. Aaron is kind, sincere and loyal. His love for the Lord can be seen in his actions, words and purpose.  I admire his diligence in his work, and how he challenges me to learn and grow. For fun, he loves to watch football, play a round of golf, or work on projects around the house.  He also makes the best pulled pork I’ve ever had!  I love spending time with him going for walks in our neighborhood, or visiting our favorite restaurants.  Aaron is a natural when it comes to children. I know he will be a great father one day teaching them and having fun.

About Alison (written by Aaron)

Alison has a gift for teaching, and has taught music for the last ten years.  I am so thankful that the Lord blessed me with Alison.  She is beautiful, fun, and kind.  She is the most loving and caring person that I have ever met.  Alison is creative, smart, and always looking at the bright side of life.  In her free time, you can usually find her running on local trails, reading or baking.  She is my best friend and I love the amount of love and support she fills my life with.  She is incredible with children, in fact, she is a local celebrity when we go out because of all the children she has impacted through her teaching!

Our Community
We have loved being a part of our community in Virginia.  We live in a quiet neighborhood with parks, walking trails and the sweetest neighbors.  We are very involved with our church, serving in children’s programs, as well as being in a married couple’s small group.  On the weekends we enjoy going to the local farmer’s market, and spending time with close friends.  There is so much beauty and history in our area to explore.  We know our children will love the variety of experience this area has to offer.

Our Families
We feel so blessed to both come from loving and supportive Christian homes.  Our families have helped to give us a strong foundation by creating homes where we were cared for, provided for, and encouraged.  Our upbringing has played a significant role in shaping our values and worldview.  Aaron’s parents have been married for 36 years and Alison’s parents have been married for 37 years.  We love spending time with our family which also includes siblings, in-laws and the sweetest nephew and niece!  They cannot wait to have a cousin to love and make memories with.

As you read this, we know you must be overwhelmed with many feelings and uncertainties.  Know that we are ready to open our hearts and our home to love a child unconditionally.  Whether or not we are the right adoptive parents for your child, please know that our hearts and our prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Aaron and Alison
