Dear expectant parents, Hello and thank you for reading our letter and getting to know us a little better. We are Brandon and Crystal. We love to laugh, to make memories with friends and family, and to take on as many adventures as our lives have to offer. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and to consider the decision to choose adoption. We are very thankful for you and know that this decision for you is not an easy one. We hope that together through an adoption plan, we can partner with you to love and nurture this child in a supportive and encouraging community. We know that you have hopes and dreams for your child; expectations that every parent has for their children’s future. Our hope is that we can help give you peace that many of your hopes and dreams for your child are the same as ours. We desire to love this child as our own, that they will grow in the knowledge of a God who loves them unconditionally, and will go to bed every night knowing the truth of God’s love and their parents’ love for them. We envision a life full of love, laughter, music, and family. Gathering around the dinner table is very important to us. It is where we share what happens in our lives, tell stories and laugh, and learn to love one another. We love to have meals with our friends and family and the family table is the means by which we can enjoy food and celebrate life together. Regular family meals with our extended family is a staple to our lives. Music is also a large part of our life and we hope that your child gets to experience many opportunities to enjoy that, whether it be through listening to Brandon play guitar and Crystal play piano, or enjoying home concerts with musician friends. We value simple things, like taking our dog for walks, spending time tending to the garden, or being silly and having dance parties. We look forward to building a life with deep roots of family and love for your child, providing them with a sure foundation of faith in Christ and a sense of belonging and identity. Our christian faith is a very important part of our lives. Brandon works as a pastor and Crystal plays piano in the band at our church. Our church is like an extended family for us. We very much look forward to introducing a child into our home and helping them learn more about our loving and kind God who cares for His people so much. God has adopted us into His family and showed us His love and we too long for the day to be able to adopt and display God's love to our children. Although we are unable to have our own biological children, we have always had a heart for adoption. Especially over the last few years, we have grown more resolved that adoption is the means by which we establish and grow our family. We look forward to living out the beautiful story of our adoption into God’s family; God has chosen us to be part of His family and we now get to share that story with others. We hope that this letter helps you to get to know us a little better and helps in your decision as you consider a family for adoption. Thank you for considering us as that family! With love, Brandon and Crystal

More About Our Family
Some things that we love: Having big dinners and feasts with our friends and family, traveling around the world (we have gone to Spain 3 times), listening to music (we have a growing vinyl collection), BBQ and cooking together, having family movie night with friends and family, cheering for the Seattle Seahawks, hiking and exploring with our dog, kayaking, playing indoor soccer with our friends from church, and enjoying a great cup of coffee at the local cafe. Our friends, family, and church play a huge role in our lives and they all join us in our excitement for adoption.
More About Brandon
(From Crystal) Brandon is the life of the party and a social butterfly. He is funny, caring, great with kids and a hard worker. He is currently getting his Masters Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies while working full time as a pastor and serving as a board member for a large non-profit that helps low-income families in our community. In his "downtime" he loves to build furniture in his wood shop, read a book in our home library and play indoor soccer
More About Crystal
(From Brandon) Crystal is compassionate, creative, and certainly the smartest one in our family! She is an amazing musician and I can listen to her play piano for hours at hand. She loves to spend time nurturing her garden around the home, catching up with friends over a cup of coffee or tea, and playing music with others in our community and church. Crystal works as a piano instructor, piano accompanist, and high school choir and Spanish teacher.
