We would like you to know how thankful we are for you and your bravery and willingness to look into an adoption plan for your baby. Thank you for taking the time to look through our profile and pictures. We feel that we are ready to expand our family and that God has a plan to use us as adoptive parents. Whether you choose our family to care for your child or not, I hope you know that what God promises his people in Jeremiah 29:11 is true for you and your child also: “‘For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” If you choose to pursue an adoption plan and choose our family, we promise to pray for this child daily and to help him/her discover what those plans may be!

More About Our Family
We have been married for 6 years and moved to Nashville from Baltimore, Maryland in August of 2018. We purposely found a home with four bedrooms because we knew we wanted to grow our family through adoption and still have room for family and friends to visit. Chris is an architect and Molly works about one shift per week as a nurse and is able to be home with Charlie the rest of the time. Our son Charlie was born in May of 2016. He is gentle and polite with other children and is becoming quite a funny kid. He always seems to get the joke and loves to make people laugh. He loves reading stories and ‘helping’ mom cook. We are confident that he will make a great big brother! We love spending time outdoors in the spring and fall and have found several places to hike right around Nashville. Molly’s parents live just outside New York City, so there are plenty of opportunities to visit and explore New York. In the summer, we go at least weekly to the pool in Chris’s parents’ neighborhood. We have tried camping overnight just once and look forward to going again. Camping was a big part of Chris’s childhood and we hope it will be for our children as well. For at least one week every summer, we spend time at Molly’s parents’ cabin in Canada. The cabin was built by Molly’s grandfather in the 1960s and has been in the family ever since. Molly spent two weeks there every summer as a child with her siblings and cousins. This is where she learned to swim and fish and attempted to learn to water ski. We are so excited for our kids to be able to continue the tradition in this beautiful place.
More About Chris
Chris is a wonderful husband and father to our son, Charlie. He works hard and is good at his job. I am always amazed at how he has energy left over after his work day to play with Charlie, help clean the house, and get projects done after work. He encourages me in his love for the Lord and his discipline in reading his bible. He is funny and easy to talk to. As an architect, he is very detail oriented and loves to create things - he just finished a beautiful set of chairs for my parents’ cabin in Canada. I loved watching his transition to fatherhood when our son was born. He immediately jumped in and played an active role - changing diapers, singing lullabies, and reading bedtime stories. As Charlie has grown, I have been able to see Chris share knowledge with him about how things work, encourage him to try new things, and gently correct his behavior.
More About Molly
Molly is the most kind and compassionate woman I know. It’s fitting for her to be a nurse, because she is always caring for other people. As the middle child with an older and younger sister, she’s careful to help keep the peace and always has us smiling and laughing. I thank God for her smile, her gentleness, and the way that she lovingly nurtures our son, Charlie. She is so full of joy that she can light up a room. She loves those around her unconditionally, and I am so thankful to benefit from all that she has to offer. From early on in our dating relationship, Molly has enthusiastically talked about pursuing adoption one day. Her younger sister, Ting, was adopted from Hong Kong when Molly was just five years old. Today, they are great friends. I’ve seen Molly be the best mom to Charlie, and I know that she will, by God’s grace, continue to nurture all future children that He has in store for us.
