Dear Friend, First, we want to take the time to thank you for having the courage and selflessness to make such a difficult decision. You are giving life and hope to a family, and that is an amazing gift. Thank you for taking the time to consider our family as the recipient of this most precious gift. Hopefully, this profile will allow you to see a glimpse of our family, and you are able to see just how much your child would be loved as a part of our family. We wish you blessings, happiness, and peace always. May God bless you! Matt and I first met in 2007. At the time, he worked with my brother-in-law, Cam, in our hometown. We began to hang out on the weekends I was home from college, and began dating in December of 2007. On June 17, 2008, Matt asked me to marry him, and of course, I said, "YES!" When you know, you just know! He was (and still is!) my very best friend, and I knew there was no one else who would ever be more perfect for me. We were married in June 2009, and are happier than ever. We feel extremely blessed to get to go through life together. In October 2013, we were blessed with our son, Anderson. He is a sweet and loving little boy with TONS of energy! Anderson is SO excited about becoming a big brother and we are all looking forward to what God has in store for our family.

Facts About Our Family

State:North Carolina
# of Pets:2
Pets:Haso is a huge 88 pound German Shepherd who thinks he is as tiny as his brother, Rusty! He loves going to work each day with Matt and serving as a police K9. However, he likes being lazy in the backyard more than going to work! He is as sweet as they come and he enjoys when our son, Anderson, throws his toy back and forth with him outside. We are so glad he's a part of our family! Rusty is a small 7 pound miniature dachshund who thinks he is as BIG as his brother, Haso! He has more energy than any puppy we know! He just turned a year old, so he loves playing with his rope toy and running around the house. He is a sweet boy and loves laying in our laps and snuggling under his blanket. We are glad he's ours!

More About Our Family

We live in a very small neighborhood in a rural area. Our street does not have a lot of traffic, so on any given day, you may see the neighborhood kids riding their bikes or playing outside in the yard. Our house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and we also have a bonus room upstairs that we call the "play room." We love living outside the city limits, where we can escape the hustle and bustle and truly enjoy the peace and quiet the countryside brings. We are planning on this home being our "forever home." Matt and I are very blessed to have our entire immediate family live within 10 miles of us. We are extremely close with both sides of our families and enjoy spending time with them often! We are also blessed with some amazing friends who love and support us unconditionally! As a family, we treasure the time we are able to spend together. We love being able to celebrate in big ways and small ways, whether it's having a party for someone's birthday, opening presents on Christmas morning, or baking cookies on a Saturday night. Life is better spent with those you love!

About Matt

Profession:police officer

More About Matt

Matt is one of the most loving, affectionate, giving people I know. You may not guess it, just by looking at him, but he's also very tender-hearted. He has a passion for helping kids, and his sense of humor keeps everyone around him laughing. Since Matt serves our city as a Police Officer, his partner, Haso, is never far behind him. When Matt is not working, he loves to either stay home and hang out with our family, or hit the road and take us all to the beach! He is our hero and the rock for our family, and we love him, dearly!

Her out going personality and sense of humor are two of the many things I love about her. On the weekends, Lauren loves spending time with me and Anderson, going to the gym, or shopping! She is the best wife and mother and we love her very much!
