Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for your time and consideration as you make your way through this incredibly difficult time in your life.  We cannot imagine what you're going through but we want you to know that were thinking of you while you're going over the best options for your child.  Hopefully, after reading our book and learning more about us and our families, you will understand the amount of support that we have been given from our friends and family and just know that we cannot wait to welcome a child into our home and give them the same love given to us.

Now a little about the two of us. Lindsay is a hard-working, energetic, fun woman who loves to hang out with her girlfriends at the pool, take the dogs for walks around the neighborhood and enjoys time with her family.  Lindsay is an engineer for a technical company in Maryland and has been doing that for 15 years.  She volunteers for the MS society, The Sierra Club and the community board.  She loves being involved with events and parties and I’m sure will continue it for many years.  Lindsay looks forward to being a parent as much as I do and can’t wait to grow the family.  I’m sure there will be many beach trips, vacations to the mountains and long stroller rides in the neighborhood for our child when we welcome our child.

James is a funny character who loves to hang out with his friends, spend time hiking, backpacking, camping and going to the beach and relaxing with the dogs.  James spent 8 years in the Army and once out, he became an analyst in the Baltimore, MD area.  He has two older sisters who live down south and he often flies down to see them and their families.  There is no other job in the world he wants than to be a father.  James is a loving, protective man and I know he will do anything in the world for our child.  I know he will be the best father and I can’t wait to see the smile on his face once we welcome our child.

We have realized that God has placed us on the path to adopt a child and we couldn't be more excited and blessed.  This is something that is held near and dear to our hearts as we have family members who were adopted and could share the same happiness that your child will. We promise to give your child the most loving, safe and welcoming home and surround them with the utmost love and support.  We will go to the ends of the earth for one of God’s little angels as he knows they will always come first in our lives.

We want to close this letter by saying we wish you nothing but the best during the process and let God take any pain and anguish away from your heart that is present.  Please find us to be all that you hoped for your child and that they will be loved, protected and cherished forever.
