Our Letter to You:

Dearest Expectant Parent(s),

We can only imagine the agonizing choices that are before you.  Our hearts are heavy for the decisions and choices you have to make.  Even though we have not met, and we do not know your story, we are praying that God strengthens you with wisdom and discernment to guide you to the very best adoptive family for your baby.  As parents of two daughters, we know we all strive to do the very best for our children, so we do share in this common bond.  As you journey through this adoption process, our prayer for you is that God will intervene and guide you to the right family.  May God graciously cover you with His love and protection.  Whether you choose our family or another, you are in our thoughts and prayers.  God bless you and your baby.

Sincerely,

Walter and Dina

About Dina:

Hello!  I thought I would share some fun facts about myself in hopes of helping you know me better.

*Growing up, I was the middle child of three girls.  I enjoyed a good childhood, living in the country and spending many summer days playing outdoors.

*I enjoy running, although I wish I was faster at it!

* My favorite color is blue; my favorite food is spaghetti.

*If you were to take a snapshot of my typical day, you would likely see me with a cup of coffee in hand, or one close by, instructing my two daughters in their schoolwork.  I homeschool them, and have done so since they entered kindergarten.  Watching them learn and mature academically, as well as spiritually, is a joy and delight.  To ensure they remain well-rounded, they also play basketball with our local homeschool group.

*My husband and I work with college-aged students at our church.  This keeps me well-rounded!  Ha, Ha!

*I love, love, love baking!  It is one of my greatest pleasures.  There is nothing better than smelling chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven!

*One of my favorite past-times is spending time with family.  Through the heartache of losing both of my siblings, I have learned how quickly life can change and how important it is to capture special moments before they pass by.  I have also learned to cherish life and to treasure all the little blessings God has tucked into each day.

About Walter:

Hi!  We have never met before, however, I have been praying for you daily.  I cannot even imagine the feelings you are going through as you read through our profile.  Believe it or not, we both have something in common…raw emotions.

I want to tell you a little bit about myself in hopes that our raw emotions may beautifully collide one day through your journey to place. Growing up, I was an only child.  I had always wanted siblings, but my mother had complications during my birth and had to have a hysterectomy.

I grew up with lots of love and freedoms to be whomever I wanted to be.  I grew to love sports and wanted to play just about anything that involved a ball.  I could not wait to play football when I reached Junior High School.  The love I had for sports shifted when I met my Junior High School sweetheart, Dina.  I chased her around more than those balls in sports! LOL!  We ended up getting married and have been married for over 20 years.  We now have two beautiful daughters, Gracie and Abby, who are 14 and 12.

Now days, I enjoy spending time with family and going to basketball games with my daughters.  We all love the Lord Jesus and attend church regularly.  I am an ordained minister with the church and my wife and I minister to the college-aged young adults. Know this, you are loved and we look forward to the day the Lord brings us together!
