Dear Birthparents,

We cannot thank you enough for giving your baby the greatest gift – the gift of life. We know this is a difficult time for you and we want you to know how much we admire your strength and sacrifice. Only by the strong love you have for your baby, can you make such a selfless decision. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us a little more and for considering us as an adoptive family for your baby.

About Us:
Our names are Aaron and Lisa and we have been married for 6 years. After trying unsuccessfully to conceive on our own for several years, we decided to explore adoption. Through this journey, we have come to the conclusion that this was God’s plan for us all along. We both love our lives together but feel there is so much more we can give. We want so much to open our hearts and home to a child and provide them with unconditional love and support.

Aaron works for a local company in their marketing and sales department. He works a steady schedule that has him home to help with dinner every night. Lisa works as an Occupational Therapist providing rehabilitation to the elderly in their homes four days a week. Our goal is to have Lisa only work part time in order to be home more with a baby.

We enjoy traveling, not only around this country, but also abroad. We love learning about other people and places first hand and experiencing all that the world has to offer. We love watching movies and listening to all kinds of music in our home. We have both been active throughout our lives in sports and exercise. Aaron plays on both soccer and volleyball teams and enjoys motorcycle riding. Lisa stays active with yoga, pilates, and running. In the summer months, we both really enjoy getting out into nature and going camping and hiking.

About our families:
Both of our parents have been married for over 35 years. We come from smaller but close knit families. Lisa has a younger brother and sister and Aaron also has a sister. We have two young nephews that we love spending time with and taking on fun outings like the zoo and the museum. We have learned so much from spending time with them since they were babies. We get together often with our families to celebrate birthdays, special occasions, and just for fun. Everyone is so excited we are adopting and cannot wait to meet him or her and welcome them into our family.

About our home and community:
We live in a neighborhood that is ideal for raising a family and many of our neighbors have children that play together. We are part of a small community with several local parks nearby, walking trails, and reputable schools. Our church is a large part of our community and is only five minutes from our home. We live in a suburban area but are still close enough to enjoy all the wonderful cultural experiences that the city of Pittsburgh has to offer.

We thank you again for taking the time to learn more about us. We plan to parent with love, patience, kindness, and consistency. We will encourage our children to explore their interests and talents and find their niche in this world. We plan to lead by example and provide them all the opportunity to grow and learn in a loving home.
